Rolf Purzer to Be The New President and CEO of ATPCO

DULLES, VIRGINIA—November 1, 2016ATPCO, the global leader in pricing and related content serving existing and emerging distribution models across the airline and travel industry, announced that Rolf Purzer will be the new President and CEO, effective February 1, 2017.

Purzer has a global perspective and has played a leading role driving ATPCO’s corporate strategy. He joined ATPCO in 1996 and currently serves as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), where he directs global marketing strategy and ensures that the ATPCO product portfolio is aligned to meet its customers’ needs. Prior to ATPCO, Purzer held marketing, commercial, and strategic planning positions at Deutsche Lufthansa in Germany and Amadeus in Spain.

“His wealth of knowledge and the respect he has from his peers in the airline industry is indisputable, and this gives me great confidence for the future of ATPCO,” said Jerry Foran, Chairman, ATPCO Board of Directors.

Purzer will succeed Bill Andres, who is retiring effective February 1, 2017. During Andres’s tenure, ATPCO successfully drove significant achievements in transformation across its product technology and business practices.
